Locust pose with arms extended is an incredible pose to strength throughout the the entire body. It is also an amazing pose to increase mobility in both the shoulders and the spine.
Cues:
*Start by lying flat on your stomach
*Bring your arms to either side of your body with your fingers pointing towards your feet and palms flat on the ground
*On an exhale press into the ground strongly with your hands and engage the glutes
*On an inhale lift both of your legs off of the ground
*On the next inhale raise the chest off the ground while drawing the shoulder blades towards the hips
*On the exhale lift the hands off the ground
*On the inhale stretch the arms out in front of you with the thumbs up
